5: 32. അക്കാരണത്താല് ഇസ്രായീല്
സന്തതികള്ക്ക് നാം ഇപ്രകാരം വിധിനല്കുകയുണ്ടായി: മറ്റൊരാളെ കൊന്നതിന്
പകരമായോ, ഭൂമിയില് കുഴപ്പമുണ്ടാക്കിയതിന്റെ പേരിലോ അല്ലാതെ വല്ലവനും
ഒരാളെ കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയാല്, അത് മനുഷ്യരെ മുഴുവന് കൊലപ്പെടുത്തിയതിന്
തുല്യമാകുന്നു. ഒരാളുടെ ജീവന് വല്ലവനും രക്ഷിച്ചാല്, അത് മനുഷ്യരുടെ
മുഴുവന് ജീവന് രക്ഷിച്ചതിന് തുല്യമാകുന്നു. നമ്മുടെ ദൂതന്മാര്
വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുകളുമായി അവരുടെ ( ഇസ്രായീല്യരുടെ ) അടുത്ത്
ചെന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നിട്ട് അതിനു ശേഷം അവരില് ധാരാളം പേര് ഭൂമിയില്
അതിക്രമം പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
مِنْ
أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنَّهُ مَن قَتَلَ
نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ
النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ
جَمِيعًا وَلَقَدْ جَاء تْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا بِالبَيِّنَاتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ
كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فِي الأَرْضِ لَمُسْرِفُونَ
[5.32] For this reason did
We prescribe to the children of Israel that
whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter
or for mischief in the land, it is as though
he slew all men; and whoever keeps it alive,
it is as though he kept alive all men; and
certainly Our apostles came to them with clear
arguments, but even after that many of them
certainly act extravagantly in the land.
