There could be no suspicions about the bona fides of the book from which the Professor took the passage. It was a book published by Kerala State Institute of Languages, a venture funded by the State Government. The book was one of the reference books prescribed for the B.A. Malayalam course of the University for the year 2009-2010. It was also once a reference book for the M.A. Malayalam course. The specific passage the professor selected came from the article "Oru Viswasiyude Kandethalukal" (The Findings of a Faithful) by P T Kunhumuhammed, a well-known name in the field of Malayalam literature and cinema.

ദളിത്‌ പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയെ പീഡിപ്പിച്ച കേസില്‍ ഏഴുപേര്‍ റിമാന്‍ഡില്‍

 

ഗോമാതവിന്റെ പേരില് രണ്ടു മുസ്ലിം സഹോദരന്മാരെ കൊന്ന്പോൾ അത് ഹിന്ദു ഭീകരത എന്നും,Rohith Vemula (ദളിതനനെങ്കിലും ഹിന്ദുവാണ്) ആത്മഹത്യാ ചെയ്തപോ അത് സംവരണ ഹിന്ദു ഫാസിസം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു ഒച്ചപ്പാടുണ്ടാക്കിയ ചില പുരോഗമന രാഷ്ട്രീയകരും , മത പ്രവര്ത്തകരും എന്തെ, ഒരു ദളിത്‌ പെണ്കുട്ടി ഒരുകൂട്ടം അന്യമാതസ്തരാൽ (ഹിന്ദു വല്ലാത്ത) രണ്ടു മാസത്തോളം rape ചൈയപ്പെട്ടിടും മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കുനത്? എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ഈ സംഭവത്തെ മതവുമായി ഭാന്തിപ്പികുന്നില? ഒരു മുസ്ലിം പെന്കുട്ടിക് RSS കാരിൽ നിന്ന് ഇത്തരം അനുഭവം ഉണ്ടായാൽ എന്താവും ഇവിടുത്തെ അവസ്ഥ? ഒരു പത്രങ്ങല്കും ആ വാർത്ത‍ വേണ്ട.

വേറൊന്നും കൊണ്ടല്ല, സമുദായ വോട്ടുബാങ്ക് മുന്നില് കണ്ടാണ്‌. ഇത്തരം തരാം താണ തരാം തിരിവാണ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവസര രാഷ്ട്രീയമാണ്, RSS എന്ന സങ്കടന വളരാനും, ഹിന്ദുവിനോട് ഉണരാനും, സങ്കടിക്കാനും വിളിച്ചു പറയാൻ ശശികലയെ(അവർ പറയുന്ന പല ന്യായങ്ങളും മണ്ടത്തരം ആണെങ്കിലും ഇതൊക്കെ കാണുമ്പോൾ കുരച്ചോകെ സരിയും ഇല്ലാതില്ല) പോലുള്ളവരെ പ്രേരിപ്പികുന്നത്.

ആറ്റിങ്ങല്‍: കല്ലമ്പലത്ത് പത്താംക്ലാസുകാരിയായ ദളിത്‌ പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയെ പീഡിപ്പിച്ച കേസില്‍ ഏഴുപേര്‍  റിമാന്‍ഡിലായി.   അയിരൂര്‍ കിഴക്കേപ്പുറം ബിജു മന്‍സിലില്‍ അനൂപ് ഷാ (24), വടശേരിക്കോണം നിഹാസ് മന്‍സിലില്‍ ഷെഹനാസ് (19), തൊടുവേ പുതുവല്‍ പുത്തന്‍വീട്ടില്‍ സല്‍മാന്‍ (19), അയിരൂര്‍ ഫാത്തിമാ മന്‍സിലില്‍ സഹീദ് (21), ചാവര്‍കോട് ഗുലാബ് വീട്ടില്‍ സൂരത്ത് (32), ചാവര്‍കോട് ലൈല മന്‍സിലില്‍ അല്‍ അമീന്‍ (23), ഇടവ കൊച്ചുതൊടിയില്‍ ഷംനാദ് മന്‍സിലില്‍ ഷംനാദ് (21)എന്നിവരെയാണ്  ആറ്റിങ്ങല്‍ കോടതി റിമാന്‍ഡ് ചെയ്തത്.

ഒന്നാം പ്രതി വര്‍ക്കല സ്വദേശി അമീര്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ അഞ്ചുപേരെ പോലിസ് തിരയുന്നു. മൂന്നുമാസം മുമ്പാണ് പതിനഞ്ചുകാരിയായ പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയെ അയല്‍വാസി പ്രണയം നടിച്ച് പീഡനത്തിനിരയാക്കിയത്. പിന്നീട് വിവാഹ വാഗ്ദാനം നല്‍കി സുഹൃത്തുക്കളായ പലര്‍ക്കും ഇയാള്‍ പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയെ കാഴ്ചവയ്ക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

സുഹൃത്തുക്കളുടെ വീടുകളില്‍ ആളില്ലാത്ത സമയത്ത് എത്തിച്ചാണ് പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയെ പീഡനത്തിനിരയാക്കിയത്. പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയുടെ മൊഴിയില്‍ പൊലീസ് കേസെടുത്തതോടെയാണ് പ്രതികള്‍ അറസ്റ്റില്‍ ആയത്.

Kerala capital's horror tale: Dalit minor girl raped for 2 months by 12 men

 



A minor Dalit girl was tortured and raped by at least 12 men during the last two months at Attingal bordering Thiruvananthapuram district, police said on Tuesday.

Seven persons, aged between 19 and 32 years, have been arrested in this connection and a search is on for the main accused and some others, who are absconding, they said.

Police said despite the torture she underwent, the brave 15-year-old girl had appeared for the just concluded Class X examinations this year as she was keen to write it.

The girl, who stays with her mentally challenged mother and a cousin brother, works as a cinematic dancer for a living.

The two main accused, her cousin's friends, took the girl from nearby Attingal in their auto rickshaw on February 2 stating that her cousin brother had fallen unconscious in an inebriated state. She was taken to a deserted spot and raped by the two - Amir and Anup Shah, police said.

While the latter is among those who have been arrested, the former is at large, police said.

The accused also recorded the heinous act on their mobile phone cameras and began threatening the girl that they would release it if she did not give in to their demands for sexual favours.

They also forcibly took her to various places and presented her to many persons for money through intimidation from February 2-March 30, police said.

Police said the girl had on several occasions been tortured when she tried to resist her tormentors. There were several injury marks of cigarette butts on her body. She was also forced to consume liquor and smoke ganja, they said.

The plight of the victim came to light on March 30, when she was physically attacked by the gang at Paripally on the outskirts after she refused to heed to the demands of her tormentors.

When local people gathered and questioned the men, they fled from the spot. Police took the girl to the police station where she narrated her torture.

The girl, in her statement to police, also narrated that the accused used to tie her up and beat her, forcibly make her consume liquor and take drugs.

Karnan cannot be made like an ordinary film : Madhupal

 
The Karnan debate is now taking some interesting turns. As we said in our earlier reports, the news about the film or rather films had become the most debated topic in social media and lots of fan fights are happening related to it as well. Many troll pages are trolling both the films even before it started filming and now its all Karnan everywhere to say the least. Then there were some reports came that the Mammootty-Madhupal-P Sreekumar project based on Karnan may be dropped as Prithviraj and RS Vimal had launched their project based on Karnan even before P Sreekuamr and Madhupal.

Now, in a recent media interview, screenplay writer P Sreekumar said clearing all air regarding the shelving of his project that if he is alive, then he will definitely do the film based on Karnnan and that too with Mammootty in the lead. With this statement of his, it is now almost confirmed that both Prithviraj RS Vimal project and Mahupal- Mammootty project will happen.

As per the words of director Madhupal, his film will start rolling in the coming months once Mammootty becomes free from his other commitments. The pre-proudction works are going on with full pace as well. On the other hand. RS Vimal is writing the script of his film Karnan with Prithviraj and it will take some time before starting the shoot as they also needs some time for preparation.

Both films are big budget ones and Mammootty film will be made using 50 crore. Prithviraj- RS Vimal film will have a budget more than 50 crore as well. Venu Kunnappilly will finance the RS Vimal’s Karnan and the name of Madhupal’s Karnan’s producer is not yet revealed.
